The members of the General Assembly through a secret ballot elect the PBA's Board of Directors for a two-year term. The PBA has its first election on December 18th 1997. With results as follows:

The Board of Directors sets up Specialized Committees when deemed necessary, from members of the Association to tackle specific issues.
