In support of our Aqsa Intifada and in support of just cause to the Palestinian People in establishing our Palestinian State with Jerusalem it's capital , the PBA agenda reflects the following:

• The Palestinian Businessmen Association has in it's board meeting decided :
  1. The PBA has informed President Yaser Arafat through a letter sent to his excellency and to all the governors of the major cities in the West Bank, demonstrating in this letter the PBA's firm stand behind his excellency the President , the Palestinian Authority and People. Also expessing the strong well and active role of the PBA during these difficult circumstances towards our people, institutions and nation .

  2. Assist in employing young men and women who were a victim of the Israeli guns through-out the Al-Aqsa Intifada. All Interested Please contact the Palestinian Businessmen Association at:

  3. Through the coordination with different trade and industry unions, the Association calls on all Palestinians to boycott the Israeli products . The Association calls on all Palestinians to support local products and work toward self-sufficiency.

  4. The Association will continue to play the important role in support , assist and guide other business associations, industry, trade unions and businessmen in general in order to reach the level of productivity and technical know-how which allow us to reach self sufficiency. In the other hand will continue to work with all levels of society in order to increase the awareness among Palestinians to support local products.
  
  
• The PBA has received a letter from the President of the Arab Businessmen Federation Mr. Hamdi Al-Taba'a condemming the current Israeli aggressions and expressing the solidarity of the Arab Businessmen Community with their Palestinian counterparts & people. Also , the PBA was informed that Mr. Taba'a has circulated a letter to all the institutions member in the Arab Businessmen Federation to bare their responsibilities and urgently consolidate help and assistance to the Palestinian people during these bloody & hard moments.

• The Jordanian Businessmen Association in Amman has faxed the PBA about the JBA decision to deliver a full equipped Ambulance as a contribution from the Jordanian Businessmen Association to the Al- Maqased Hospital in Jerusalem .

• As a result of the current situation in Palestine , The Trilateral Economical Meeting "Summit" between the Joint Business Councils of Eygpt, Jordan & Palestine, has been postponed to a later notice. Since it was planned, prior to the latest events, to conveine this "Summit" in Sharm Al-Sheik during 27-30 of october 2000. Hence the PBA represents Palestine in these Joint Business Councils with Jordan & Eygpt.
